We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and greeting other guests. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.

The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes. Cocktail hour will follow from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the reception is scheduled to end at midnight. You're welcome to stay for as long or as little as you'd like!

The ceremony will be held indoors in the glasshouse. The cocktail hour will held in the sky garden and art gallery, and the reception will be in the glasshouse. In case of inclement weather, the cocktail hour will be held exclusively in the art gallery.

Yes! We will be serving a plated dinner with your choice of entrée (as selected in your RSVP). Hors d'oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour, and cake will be served for dessert. We've also arranged for late-night snacks for those who stay to dance the night away!

We've arranged room blocks at several hotels near the venue. Please see the Travel page for details and booking information. We recommend booking your accommodations early, as June is a popular time to visit Chicago.

No, but the venue is easily accessible via Interstate 90 and the CTA Blue Line.

The nearest airport is O'Hare International Airport (ORD), which is approximately 12 miles from the venue. Most major airlines serve ORD, and rental cars, taxis, and rideshare services are readily available at the airport. Midway International Airport (MDW) is another nearby option.

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Men may wear suits, and women may wear cocktail dresses or gowns. Please note that the cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting), so consider appropriate footwear for garden terrain.

We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing all white, cream, or ivory, as these colors are reserved for the bride. Otherwise, feel free to wear any color you like!

Due to venue capacity limitations, we can only accommodate those guests named on your invitation. If your invitation includes "and Guest" or your partner's name, you are welcome to bring them. If you have any questions about this, please contact us directly.

Yes, we will have professional photographers capturing our special day. We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we'd love to see your faces rather than your phones! You're welcome to take photos during the reception, and we encourage you to share them using our wedding hashtag #LaurenAndNicholas2026.
